Sweet little Nora came back for her milestone session since she is part of my Babycakes Plan. This girl is gorgeous just like her big sister, and no surprise where they get it after seeing Mom and Dad 🙂 I absolutely have LOVED photographing this family for the past several years and watching them go from a couple anxiously awaiting the birth of their first daughter through her first year and then adding baby Nora to the group and finally taking pictures as a family of four with a toddler and a baby! We took a few shots in the studio but then wanted to grab some shots outside for the family since it was so beautiful! I always LOVE the studio sessions for the babies that come back for their sitter milestone session. I love the look dramatic lighting can give and the dark wood background really allows the focus to be all about the baby! I mean, look at those eyes!!!!! Can’t wait to see Nora again for her last session as part of her Babycakes Plan next spring!

This girl….I’ve taken pictures of her since she was a newborn! I have known her mom and been friends with her since high school. Every time I see her she seems a bit shy…..but then I bring out my camera and she lights up! It’s like she’s an entirely different person. Adorable poses come out of nowhere and I just happily click away while she does her thing 🙂 Montgomery (Monty for short) is the cutest little thing and my friend Amy and I thought it would be really fun to do a “Mommy and Me” session of sorts. Amy is great with putting outfits together and chose the perfect dresses and halos to wear. Our original plan was to wait for just the right time and photograph them in front of some beautiful cherry blossom trees, but, we weren’t quick enough. We decided to wait until a bit later in the season and photographed our session at this gorgeous park in Edina. I absolutely LOVE all the green in the background and it really makes their dresses stand out. I hope you love this session as much as I loved photographing it!
