This was my second meeting with Sarah, her husband Mike and their beautiful little boy Jonah. They had their summer family photos done just a month or so ago and we planned to do the maternity shoot sometime in late September or early October; however…..they found out they will be moving to Vermont so we moved up their maternity session. I’m so bummed they won’t be here when their little baby is born, but I was so glad they opted to do the maternity shoot early! Sarah is so sweet and laid back! We had so much fun (well, I’m not sure how much “fun” Mike had, but we got the family shots nice and quick and he was a good sport about it all) and Sarah and I went and did some of the solo pics down in their party room at her condo! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this furniture! If I could redo my house (or decorate a studio) this is definitely what I would choose! Sarah, thanks so much for choosing me for your family and maternity photos! Good luck to you all on your move and with the birth of your next little one!!! I hope you love the sneak peak!

Gorgeous 2011 senior
Meet Hannah! She is a friend of Kyla, whose senior session was posted last month. I met up with Hannah at the arboretum and we had a great time checking out different locations around the area. Unfortunately for me, I forgot mosquito spray and I think I got about 30 bites in the hour and a half we were out and about! OUCH!!!!!! They are still itching like crazy! Hannah is beautiful and very photogenic, which is very obvious from these pictures. I hope you love them Hannah!

Sweet little Ashlyn
I’m always so excited to get to go back and photograph a newborn after doing Mom’s maternity photos and little Ashlyn was no exception! I got to meet and photograph Ashlyn when she was 12 days old! Our shoot went amazing and she was such a great sleeper through the entire shoot. She even gave me lots of smiles! I went to school with Ashlyn’s mom Sara and was lucky enough to be able to photograph her while she was pregnant. Sweet baby Callen
I went to college with Callen’s mom and dad so it was so great to hear from them after they welcomed their second little boy into the family! Callen was already 3 weeks old when we did his shoot but he slept like a champ! I had so much fun catching up with you Mel and Mark, and thank you for trusting me with Callen’s newborn pics! He’s such a sweet little boy!!!!! I hope to meet Cayden soon too!
The picture below on the right makes me think of an ultrasound picture….I love it! He looks so snuggly and sweet!

Chasing Chase!
Chase is the little boy of a friend whom I haven’t seen since college! I got to meet up with Jamie, her husband Dean, and little Chase who will be two in September. He is a busy little guy so he did LOTS of exploring while we were out and about! I’m pretty sure he probably took a good nap when he got home because he was exhausted by the end of our session! Hope you love the sneak peak of your pics!
Little Beauties
This was such a special session for me! I used to babysit these girls up until the week before I had my son! I watched them since Josie (now 8!) was not quite 3 years old! Their parents Anne and John are such wonderful generous people and it was a pleasure to work for them and become friends! I will always have a special place in my heart for this family and I can’t wait to meet baby #5 in September!!!! I’m sure he or she will be as equally stunning as the rest of his/her family! Thanks again Anne and John, you are truly blessed to have such a wonderful family and I am so happy we are still friends! Love you all!!!!!

Sleeping Beauty
Little Brianna is the daughter of some very good friends of our family. She is already 3 months old and seriously one of the most beautiful babies I’ve ever seen!!!! She’s got the cutest little cheeks around and tons of black hair! Brianna had a great time during her photo shoot and I had a great time catching up with her mom and dad while I was there! We were even able to get a few sleeping shots the end and she looks like a little angel! Thank you Dylan and Aon for allowing me to photograph your sweet little girl!

Lil’ Frankie
I stopped by my friend Vanessa’s house the other day right after a shoot, so we decided to have a little fun with Frankie. He is just about 6.5 months old and such a big boy! He sits so well and gets all over the place doing the army crawl! He had a fascination with the stairs…..I think it was the first time he figured out he could get over there all by himself….yikes! I’m sure the baby gate will be going up any day now:) Look at this cutie pie!

Owen and Olivia
I met Owen, Olivia and their mom Tara at a park near our house for some outdoor photos of the two kids! Owen is a big 5 year old and such a great big brother to his little sister who is almost 18 months. They were troopers playing outside and not even complaining about the 90 + degree weather! We had so much fun exploring the park and Tara was nice enough to let (me) them get some shots in the water at the end! I wanted to get a couple of shots with Owen by his little sister and so I told him to sit over and play by her….well, he took me literally and actually sat in knee deep water with his clothes on! Thank goodness Mom was so laid back!!!!! We had so much fun and I love the way these photos turned out!
