More mini’s

One of my good friends from college set up a mini shoot at her house.  She lives in a gorgeous neighborhood and has a beautiful backyard that we knew would be the perfect setting for photographs.  The only weekend we were able to organize the shoot was for October 24th.  I was a bit worried that it would be really cold (and not sure what to make of the leaf situation) but we had the most perfect day and as you can see, the setting was fantastic!  All the families were wonderful and they made my job so easy!  Thank you Jill, for organizing and thank you families for being so much fun!Kodesh-21

Baby Van

I love getting to shoot sessions with friends!  I was thrilled when I received an email from an old friend from high school.  She recently had a little boy and wanted to get some newborn photos taken.  Little Van was 2 weeks when we met up and he is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!  He was such a great baby the whole time, and I could have stayed there all day taking pics of him!  I also got to meet his beautiful older sister Makenna!  She is almost 3 and has the most amazing big brown eyes……daddy’s going to be in for some trouble when she gets older 🙂  Amy congratulations on your beautiful new addition!!!!

Sweet little girls!

This was a very fun and special session for me!  These people are not only my neighbors, but close friends!  We moved in when Kaley was only 14 months old and now she’s 5 and a half!!!!  My son is pretty much obsessed with her and follows her around like a little puppy dog!  Little Alyse and my little Nellie are only 4 months apart and also play great together!  Melissa has been a huge support through my trials and tribulations of motherhood 🙂  I am very lucky to call her my friend!  I had so much fun with these girls and I hope these pictures really capture how special they are!!!!  Enjoy!

Fun family of 5

I had a last minute request to do some family photos that were going to serve as Xmas presents for grandparents this year!  Thank goodness it was nice because we were able to find an evening last week that worked out as far as schedule, and I don’t think it would have happened if this was typical October weather!  This awesome family has a 3.5 year old, almost 2 year old and an 8 week old!!!!  Talk about busy!!!  I’m exhausted just thinking about their days!  They were so much fun to be around and their boys were too cute!  LOTS of energy!  Both my kids are very energetic, but for some reason, boys just have a way of being more “busy” than girls!!!  Luckily, Henry, the middle son, loved to follow his big brother Bryan’s lead so they were usually in the same place at the same time!!!  They were ALL boy!!  Playing with sticks, running around, rolling in the leaves!  Sweet little Lydia was amazing!  I don’t think I ever heard her cry!  I suppose she’ll get used to going with the flow being the youngest of 3 kids!  Kelly and Adam were so fun to work with and very laid back!  They were laughing at all the silly things the boys were doing and it was easy to see how much they adored their children and loved being parents!  Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to document your new family of 5!

Little Henry was too cute for his own good!!!  Ohhh, and he works for fruit snacks!!! 🙂

Big Brother Bryan

I don’t know how….but I’m pretty sure Lydia slept right through our entire shoot in the leaves!

Seriously, Henry had me laughing most of the time!!  Look at that face 🙂 He was having a great time!

Mini session sneak peeks!

I held mini sessions this past Sunday at the arboretum in Chaska and we were lucky enough to have WONDERFUL weather!!!!  I couldn’t have asked for a better day or a better group of people with whom to spend my time.  I had my wonderful assistant and best friend LeAnne to help, and thank goodness she was there because I could not have pulled the day off without her!  I’ve been working like crazy to get some done from each session so I could share them on the blog!  Here are a few sneak peeks!!!!  Enjoy!

Due to some unfortunate circumstances, my assistant LeAnne’s session had to be postponed because her husband was traveling out of the country.  Here are a couple of her with her beautiful girls!!!
